YEŞİM HATIRLI
Born in 1968 in Ankara, Yeşim Hatırlı graduated from METU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture in 1990 and started her career at MNG Targem in the same year. Since 1993, she has been working with Nami Hatırlı as co-founder, project designer and manager of Hatırlı Architecture Ltd. Şti. Between 2003-2018, Hatırlı started to work as a part-time lecturer in the 4th grade studio of METU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture until 2018, and as of the 2018-2019 academic year, he continues to work in the 3rd grade studio of Atılım University GSTMF-Department of Architecture. She is a member of TMMOB Chamber of Architects Ankara Branch, TSMD (Turkish Society of Free Architects), Architects Association 1927, METU Alumni Association and OMIM Association. Yeşim Hatırlı served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TSMD for two terms. In 2012, she pioneered the TSMD Architecture Center, and in the same period, she was the coordinator of the European Union project whose final product was the Ankara city model.
NAMİ HATIRLI
Born in Kayseri in 1963, Nami Hatırlı completed his primary, secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College between 1970-1980. After graduating from METU Faculty of Architecture – Department of Architecture in 1984, Hatırlı started his professional career working as an architect/project manager at INA Proje-Naim BEKİTOĞLU between 1984-87. He started his freelance career in 1987 at NCN Architecture and Urbanism, which he founded together with Can Kubin and Nejat Sert, and continues his professional activities as a founding partner, project designer and manager at HATIRLI Mimarlık Ltd. Şti. which he founded together with Yeşim HATIRLI in 1993. He is a member of TMMOB Chamber of Architects Ankara Branch and TED Alumni Association-KOLEJIN. She is currently working as a part-time lecturer in the 4th grade studio of Atılım University GSTMF Department of Architecture, which she started in 2017-2018 academic year.
